At CPHR Manitoba, we are committed to building the strategic capability and organizational impact of HR practitioners, and providing value to our members. 

To further support Continued Professional Development needs of our growing population of Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHRs), and in recognition of the quality of some of the HR professional development programs offered throughout Manitoba, we are proud to offer the CPHR Manitoba Accreditation Program. 

As as result of the recent change in name of the CHRP (Certified Human Resource Professional) designation to CPHR (Chartered Professional in Human Resources) the Accreditation Program and all associated documents will be overhauled in the coming months. In the meantime, the existing application form and seals will continue to be used.

Mastering the Science of Finding Talent

Part 1: Candidate Attraction
Promoting an employer brand and value proposition's critical to attracting talent. This interactive training starts out with customize practices, such as developing job profiles for attraction, covers the importance of the intake meeting, gathering appropriate and important keywords, and enhancing an online presence.

Part 2: Candidate Sourcing
Talent's at everyone's fingertips. The academy teaches tools and techniques to go out and find candidates with the skills and experience an organization requires. 

Part 3: Candidate Engagement
Once candidates are found, proper engagement's critical. Candidate Engagement trains best practices for communicating with candidates so they keep moving through the recruiting pipeline. 

Part 4: Managing the Talent Pipeline
The academy finishes with leadership training focussed on keeping an active and steady pipeline of candidates. The training includes establishing metrics, how to implement practices, and how to measure and maximize results.

Workplace Mental Health Leadership TM certificate program

This certificate program is the first of its kind in Canada. It was developed in partnership with Bell Canada Mental Health and Anti-stigma Research Chair and Faculty of Health Sciences at Queen's University. 
Module 1 - Introduction to a Mentally Healthy Workplace 
Module 2 - The Leader's Role in Early Intervention, Recovery and Return to Work 
Module 3 - Promoting a Mentally Healthy Workplace 

Format: on-demand in the workplace (online and classroom), up to 25 participants 
Upon successful completion of all three modules (including examinations), participants will receive a certificate from Queen's University.
